Dr. Sue Allingham developed her career in school with classroom experience and Senior Leadership roles, then moving on as a Lead Teacher and trainer for Hounslow local authority. Sue holds an MA and EdD in Early Childhood Education from the University of Sheffield and is one of the country’s leading voices in early years teaching and learning. Sue’s work always has a solid grounding in research as well as result, and her philosophy is always the question ‘why’. Sue has been involved with the development of Brighter Together since the pilot programme and has been an integral part of designing a programme of activities that maximise the benefit of these groups spending time together. Sue has spent many Friday mornings enjoying the infectious laughter and fun with one of our first projects, which she always joins whenever she can.
